A team of up to 25 Educational Support aides, a Speech Therapist, school psychologist and two part-time multicultural aides assist children with special needs in and out of the classroom. They are a highly skilled team with every member trained in Early Years Initiatives: Literacy and Numeracy and the one-to-one Bridges Intervention Program. Parent Support Meetings are held at least twice a year.
The main aim of the school is to ensure that all children integrate successfully and happily into all aspects of school life and learning. Independence is the ultimate goal for all students and the required scaffolding is provided by our highly qualified team of teachers and aides.
